Welcome Back To Me

It's been what?! More than four months since I last updated this blog. A lot of things happened! We are in our new home! Yes we bought a house.  Been here for almost 3 months now.  My mom is here, finally! We actually already went for a short vacation in  Osoyoos,BC with my fab sister in law Nilda, her family, my kids, Luis and mom.  Too much to discuss, and hopefully, I'll be able to share everything here! And by the way, i just finished the first trimester of my nursing upgrade :) I'm just so happy with everything right now. Plus a birthday celebration for my one and only Luis!!!! Excited to share!!!

Cypress Day Out

Finally Cypress here we come! It was a sunny day and we were even hesitant that there will be snow just like what tita Edna said. Lol! But yeah! There were snow but was so hot! I felt like we were in the beach. The hell!!!! Oh well, we ended up wearing just our top without our jackets and our snow pants! I even took off my light jacket and just wore a tank top.

The tubing costs us $20 each, so Rafael and hubby just went. Rafael had a total of 7 tries and Luis had 3 = not worth it at all!!!!! Theres a nice guy who lend us a snow board and Brielle and I paid $10 for the sliding area and it was totally tiring!!!! Plus my shoes weren't water proof! The heck Aubrey? Lol! Thats why i had a hard time. But Mommy tine is strong and felt I sis a good work out yesterday :) the nice guy even let me try tubing for one time! Which wasn't bad :) again, totally not worth it to pay $20!!!!! Around 4pm, we left the mountain, dropped by the Cypress Provincial Park for awhile for a good view :) then went home.

Thanks to hubby for the wonderful Easter Sunday treat! Plus the lunch at Goldiclocks! My birthday week has started officially!

Desk for Brielle

Another best buy from the bidding site at Facebook :). I got this awesome desk for Brielle for only $5.50. It is second hand but I don't really mind. I actually think it's practical :). She loves it so much :).

Valentines at Quilchena

Prepared some great Vday treats for Rafael's classmates and bought Kindt chocolates for his teachers :)

Inspired by Pinterest and bought some rulers for the boys and made some "you rule!" treat tags and attached it). I made some red Vday headband for the girls... I hope they'll love it! :)

Heart 's Day at The Grub

I personally requested hubby to have our Valentines dinner at the Grub. I knew that it will never be a disappointment. You'll never go wrong with The Grub :). Last night, the usual menu in the blackboard was awesome. I had the new your style beef, cooked medium rare with mashed potato and the sauce was soooo good! Luis had the fish.

Here's the thing , you'll never know what will be in the menu everyday. The chef owner prepares a surprise for his clients and I guess that makes the restaurant special. They can only cater 25 diners at most which always makes it fully booked every night :).

This years hearts day was great :). Having a hearty meal with the man I'm in love with! What a perfect night!

Brielle's Outfit Today

She's a natural! She pose like a little model. Brielle loves dressing up really nice :) I always enjoy talking her photos :)

Dinner with My Kids

Hubby had dinner with his office mates last night so it was only the three of us having dinner.

I am blessed because my kids are starting to be independent and are being trained to eat nutritious and hearty meals :)

The Fab Coat!

Oh! Thank you to my sister-in-law Olihia for buying this coat for Brielle! She looks so fab and the size is perfect hoping she can still wear it next winter! Brielle loves it! She didn't even want to remove it when we got home :)

Daddy Lu's Gall Bladder

Daddy Lu has been in the Richmond hospital short stay unit since Tuesday night for gall stones. He started feeling pain and was bloated last Saturday , went to the ER then went home after feeling better. But the pain and gas kept reoccurring until he felt the most severe pain and finally was admitted. His surgeon will still decide today whether they'll remove his gall bladder or not. Two stones were already taken out when he has ERCP at St. Paul's early this morning. Hopefully Daddy Lu will have a fast recovery whichever the surgeon decides. . I and the kids has been missing whim.

Milestone: Brielle Knows Heart

Today is February 3, 2013!

Brielle identified the shape heart :) I am not sure who taught her but I'm impressed as always :) She tried pointing on the heart shaped wood design I makes for her birthday photo booth. Good job Brielle!!!

Teacher - Parent Conference

Quilchena ElementAry School had their teacher - parent conference day yesterday. I was really looking forward to it since I missed the previous one hey had last year. I had so much learning, discoveries and confirmation with all the observation we had about our son Rafael. It was a good thing touching base with his teachers because this will guide us how to deal, connect and approach the best way in teaching Rafael. It is good to see how much they want to teach and help every kids they have in class.



After the meeting, Rafael had the chance to show me some of his school works, which are really awesome! He show me some toys, materials that they use in their learning inside the classroom. I was able to take photos of some of the techniques that his teachers use in teaching, implant to use the same here at home.

Rafael by the way is one of his who has the best neat penmanship in the class. I'm so proud of that!

Fun at Work

This was at work last Saturday, Jan 24 :) I missed everyone after not working for 17 days due to my husband's surgery and recovery. These are few of my favourites at work :) Love them so much!!!

HO Ho Ho!!!!! Delivery Of Gifts

December 25, - After having our brunch at Denny's we then delivered the gifts for the kids! I wanted them to open it in the exact day of Christmas Day so we decided to just take some time to bring it to their doors.

I think this is one thing I enjoyed on Christmas season. I am more thrilled buying and giving gifts than receiving them. The pleasure is always mine whenever I see someone getting gifts from me :)

My kids got their gifts too so more boxes opened when we got home. I really hope those kids liked our gifts! Merry Christmas again everyone!!!!
