A Review: First Time at Denny's

It was another great day for the family last Sunday as we had our lunch at Denny's after church.  For more than two years that I've been here in Canada finally my husband brought me there and tasted their food.  It was my kids' first time too in the restaurant so just imagine the excitement we had after daddy Luis mentioned that we were on the way to Denny's!

As we entered I already noticed how nice the ambiance was.  The glass ball ceiling light fixtures grabbed my attention right away.  It looked really nice and classy.  With the menu, it took us some time before we finalized our orders.  The choices were limited and they are all good American menu.  Yet, in spite of having limited selection the food was really good.  The taste and the portions were good.  I even regret not sharing with hubby, we were all overwhelmed and had a dish each.  Rafael and I didn't finish our food and ended up taking it home.

 this is way too big for Rafael!!!! there was a cheeseburger kid's meal -- but we thought it will be too small for him, but this one was too big! Way big!

He ordered french fries for side.

I had this and it was okay! Nothing really special... I just missed the country style dishes! The sauce was

not enough.  I felt like there was something missing in the dish.

The coleslaw reminded me of my mom's recipe and the rice was yummy -  I chose them as my sides.

This one got the 5 stars!  Yummy yummy! The prime rib was so tasty and juicy!

All the ingredients in the skillet really goes together.  I love eating them with the tortilla

with sour cream and salsa! Yumyum! Can't get enough of it!  The tortilla wasn't enough though!

I should say they have to add more next time... I wouldn't like to pay for extra next time.  They

should offer it for free like the salsa and the cream.

Over all... we loved Denny's.  We're definitely coming back.  They have reasonable price for delicious food.  Another addition to our favorites.  And we are so looking forward to have breakfast there.  We regret so many times eating at Ihop for bfast! But now we have another choice.  I bet breakfast at Denny's will be a hit for us too!  We actually noticed that most of the customers inside the restaurant ordered breakfast from the menu.  So it should be soooo good!!! 

For dessert, we were supposed to get the banana split  but we were so full!!! It will be gluttony if we did!

So  in exchange we got and all shared the junior one scoop strawberry ice cream instead, just enough to

taste something sweet after our scrumptious meal.
